Handmade by author Francis Edwards. Tunnel Books, or Toy Books, are a 3D diatomic pull-out presentation with a peephole to reveal the inside content. The book was an old Victorian concept that has been redesigned and reformatted for our modern day use to compete with other media that attract children. Tunnel Books inspire a love for reading and learning. They have a "wow" factor when a child 6 + pulls out the book.
SAFARI Tunnel Book has 13 African animals all revealed when the book is pulled out and you look through the peephole. Every animal is identified with a number that corresponds with information about the animal.

A Victorian Tunnel Book found by me just led me see if I could find a way to re- format the design to a modern day visual 3D experience giving children a different perspective from any other book on a shelf. I found Tunnel Books books can inspire a like for reading. My Tunnel Books have the "wow" factor. The pull out book ends the comment "I hate to read". I saw too many children, while teaching struggling with traditional conventional books. My Master's Degree in The Science of Learning has directed my efforts to recreate the Tunnel Book.
